The Blessing Bracelet was initially given to a few friends as a reminder of the power of gratitude to change your life for the better. Each comes attached to a tag that reads: “This is a Blessing Bracelet. Whenever you wear it acknowledge one blessing in your life for each pearl on the bracelet. Each time you are drawn to the bracelet, silently find four people or things you can be grateful for. Be grateful for: Your children, a flower, your dog, a perfect cup of coffee, a roof over your head – just find something. The more you wear the bracelet and the more blessings you find, the more you will be blessed. In one year, if followed, you will be aware of a profound change in your life.”
While the movie was inspired by our founder Dawn Sprong, Hallmark created a beautiful story in the true spirit of the bracelet. Learn More.
Dawn designed the bracelet as a gift for friends. The Gratitude message that she wrote for the tags came to her when she realized that practicing gratitude made her happier, and she wanted to share that with others. Learn More.
Yes. Dawn initially designed the bracelet in 2006, and launched the company in 2011. Since then, at least two individuals/companies have directly copied our design and even paraphrased the message on our tag. We stand behind the superior quality of our blessing bracelets, and offer a lifetime warranty on our jewelry.
Dawn Sprong is the designer of the Blessing Bracelet idea and the message that goes with it. Our jewelry designer, Heather Reizner, helped Dawn fulfill her vision for the bracelets by ordering the materials and creating the initial designs.
Dawn's Blessing Bracelets have been made in Chicagoland since the very beginning. We source materials from around the world, and proudly make them in Darien, IL.
This is nothing short of a miracle, the most recent in a series of miracles associated with the Blessing Bracelet. A few years ago, a writer friend of ours at Fubble Entertainment LLC, was inspired by Dawn's story of designing the blessing bracelet, and wrote a screenplay about it. Several years later, the script idea was picked up by Hallmark as a perfect Easter-themed movie that would tie in with a religious line of cards and gifts.
Yes they were! We had a lot of fun picking our more popular products to be featured in the movie. We even sent the Hallmark production team photos for their prop website and instructional videos showing how we hand-make the bracelets, so that the cast making them would look realistic.
We pride ourselves on spreading the gratitude message, and creating a non-denominational gift. While we do not consider ourselves or our jewelry religious, our products have been embraced by those of varying religions because of the bracelet's universal message.
You will be the first to know. At this point, there is no plan for a sequel.
